Car Headlight Installation Guidelines

1. Product Check: Upon receiving the product, verify if the warranty sticker is intact. The warranty sticker is the only valid proof of warranty.

2. Level / Beam Alignment Adjustment::
   
   

   One of the most common issues during headlight installation is improper beam alignment or leveling.

   Please note that installing headlights involves more than simply removing the mounting bolts and reinstalling them. Proper installation may require checking the headlight position, mounting alignment, horizontal beam level, vertical beam height, wiring, and final beam pattern.

   For this reason, we strongly recommend professional installation, especially if you do not have previous experience with headlight installation and beam adjustment.

   During installation, the horizontal alignment should be checked before the headlights are fully secured. If horizontal adjustment is required, please refer to our separate guide:

   This guide provides more detailed information on how to check and adjust the horizontal alignment first, followed by the vertical beam height.

   Improper installation or adjustment may result in an uneven or incorrect beam pattern, so please make sure the alignment is properly checked before completing the installation.

   

3. Pre-Installation Testing: Before installing, test each function of the headlight to ensure they work correctly.

4. Adjustment Before Installation: Prior to installation, use the electric adjustment screws to align the height and horizontal positioning of the headlights. Make initial adjustments to ensure both sides are aligned. Once installed on the vehicle, fine-tuning will be necessary. Headlight adjustment is one of the most common issues encountered during the installation process. Before securing the headlights, you can adjust the height and level directly from the back of the headlight. After installation, the space inside the vehicle is limited, and adjustment can only be done from above, making it more challenging.

5. Adjusting the Screws: The adjustment screws are prone to stripping if turned too quickly. We recommend using an electric screwdriver for the initial feel of the screw adjustments. If the screw strips, it is considered user-induced damage and will require repair at an additional cost.

6. Upgrading Bulbs: Our company does not provide warranty support for products that have been modified with HID or LED upgrades, as these could lead to water leakage or circuit malfunctions. We recommend waiting until the warranty period has ended before upgrading the bulbs.

7. HID Installation Warning: Severe Warning: If installing HID, always choose 35W. Do not use 50W or higher HID, as this can damage the headlights or cause the lens to yellow.

8. Ventilation Holes: Ensure the ventilation holes on the headlights are facing down. After receiving the headlights, confirm the installation of these ventilation holes. You can refer to the official Facebook page for guidance.

9. Waterproof Seals: Regardless of the product brand or model, if there are any waterproof seals, make sure they are properly installed. The manufacturer provides this for a reason.

10. Proper Bulb Installation: If the bulb is not correctly positioned, the light source will fail to project properly, affecting the light pattern. Ensure proper bulb alignment.

11. Headlight Positioning and Tightening: Before securing the headlights, position them and screw them in halfway. Once the mounting points are properly aligned, tighten the screws. Failing to do so may result in misalignment or gaps in the headlight, leading to an uneven light pattern.

12. Final Adjustments: When installing headlights on the vehicle, adjust the center points of both headlights to the same height before securing them. If the "projector lens" (fish-eye) is slightly misaligned, make fine adjustments. Some installation technicians may incorrectly assume that the misalignment is due to improper lens fixing, but this is often due to the difficulty of leveling the headlights. All of our products undergo strict quality control before shipping. However, new headlights may require manual adjustments for height alignment. Technicians should ensure this is done.

13. Electric Adjustment Motor Usage: Regardless of whether the headlights are equipped with an adjustment motor or AFS (Auto Leveling System), always manually adjust the headlights to the appropriate height first, and then fine-tune using the motor. The motor is not intended for initial fine-tuning; it is designed for quickly adjusting the height when driving in urban or rural areas.

Important Note: If the height is not manually adjusted beforehand, some vehicle models may trigger error messages when the motor or AFS is activated.
